Buca, an Italian restaurant chain founded in Minnesota, has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, mainly to get out of leases at stores that have been closed. Their four stores in Minnesota are expected to remain open.
They are known for their “family style” portions. The Maple Grove restaurant has a “kitchen table,” which is a table that is literally inside their kitchen, which I think is cool because they are proud to let customers see the inner workings of their kitchen.
