Having been saddled with a $148 million default libel judgment for “allegedly” making false, defamatory statements about Georgia election workers, Rudy Giuliani sought bankruptcy protection last December. He had agreed to self-limit his personal budget to $43,000 per month, then promptly tripled that the first month. This includes a deduction for paying what appears to be his significant other who is deemed an employee.
Creditors and the judge are getting fed up, so creditors have asked that an independent trustee be appointed to take over his finances.
