Shilo Sanders, the 24 year old son of Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion, filed bankruptcy last year, in large part due to having had a large default judgment entered against him by somebody who claimed Shilo had injured him in a 2015 assault. Shilo didn’t defend the underlying case.
A bankruptcy judge recently denied Shilo’s attempt to have that debt discharged, and now, Shilo’s name image and likeness revenue, (not to mention potential NFL revenue should he get that far in his career), could come into play toward paying down this obligation .
